How Long Does SHEIN Shipping Take?
Generally SHEIN shipping takes about 1 – 3 weeks to arrive at your doorstep. The actual delivery time depends on your location and the shipping method that you choose. You may use below as reference:
- Economy Shipping: 3 – 4 Weeks
- Standard Shipping: 2 – 3 Weeks
- Express Shipping: 1 – 2 Weeks
Delivery times in Asia are generally quick as the items are manufactured in China and therefore arrive relatively quickly. Orders to European and North American addresses have an average delivery lead time whereas remote addresses usually experience longer lead times. Check the shipping times for your country here.
How Much is SHEIN Shipping?
For shipments to the US, standard shipping is priced at $3.99 while express shipping will cost $ 12.90. For more specific and updated fees, US customers can enter their state and city for the applicable rates. As of now, there is a common rate for all states.
For example, shipments to California, Los Angeles for Standard is $3.99, and express is $12.90. Shipping is free for orders above $49.00. Deliveries to European and Asian countries are generally cheaper. Check their shipping fee for your country here.
What Are SHEIN’s Shipping Methods?
SHEIN has three different shipping methods available. Some countries may only offer one or two shipping methods, depending on SHEIN’s partnership model.
SHEIN Economy Shipping
Economy shipping is the most affordable shipping method available on SHEIN. It is the cheapest among all available shipping methods and arrives within about 3 – 4 weeks.
SHEIN Standard Shipping
Standard shipping is the most commonly used shipping method on SHEIN and orders arrive in about 2 – 3 weeks. Most countries have standard shipping methods available and they offer a good balance between cost and delivery time.
SHEIN Express Shipping
Express shipping is a premium shipping service on SHEIN and deliveries only take about 1 – 2 weeks to arrive at your doorstep. They are the most expensive shipping option but also promise the fastest delivery times.
Does SHEIN Offer Free Shipping?
SHEIN offers free shipping for orders above a defined amount and some countries in Asia also enjoy free shipping with no minimum order value. It primarily depends on where you make the purchase.
For example, in the US, free shipping is offered for order values above $49.00, for Europe, shipping tariffs to Germany, Italy, France are free for orders above €39.00. In Australia, free shipping is applicable for amounts above AU$ 49.00. For Asian destinations, the average cost for free shipping is in the range of $60.00 – $70.00 (with a few exceptions where shipping is free).
It’s also important to note that SHEIN offers promotions through deals and coupons, where shipping can be free of charge. These promotions happen from time to time and are made available depending on the location of purchase.
Changing Shipping Details for SHEIN Orders
You’ll sometimes run into a situation where you have accidentally submitted the wrong shipping or billing information. SHEIN typically allows you to modify any order by cancelling and reordering, only before your order has been shipped.
How to Change Shipping Methods on SHEIN?
To modify the shipping method, you’ll need to go to “My Orders” and cancel your shipment before it has been shipped. Simply reorder the items and select the correct shipping method.
How To Change a Shipping Address in SHEIN?
To modify the shipping address go to “My Orders” and edit to save the new address. For confirmed orders and orders that have already been shipped, the shipping address cannot be changed.
What Shipping Carriers Does SHEIN Use?
SHEIN uses China Post and deliveries are handled by the United States Postal Service for Standard Shipping method to the United States. SHEIN typically works with national postal services also for Asian and European countries.
For international express shipping the nominated carrier is FedEx. For other countries, SHEIN fulfills orders with express shipments either through international couriers or through national postal services.
How to Track a SHEIN Shipment?
Upon a successful order checkout, your shipment will be assigned with a tracking number. This tracking number is accompanied by a link that brings you directly to the courier website.
You may also follow these steps below to retrieve your tracking number.
- Log in to your SHEIN account and click “My Account”
- In the “My Account” screen, click “My Order” and you will be presented with all of your current orders.
- If shipment status is “Shipped”, click on “Track Order Details” on the right side of the pane.
- SHEIN will provide a specific tracking number with a link to the courier that will look up the shipment progress.
When tracking your order, you’ll be able to see the shipping progress and all milestones are also available for your viewing. Here, you’ll be able to see where exactly your shipment is.
Does SHEIN Offer Shipping Guarantee/Insurance?
SHEIN offers shipping insurance, however this option comes at an additional cost of $2.99. Upon checkout you’ll be presented with an option, which you’ll simply have to select.
This will allow you to return the shipment free of charge; no questions asked and there is also no need to indicate a reason. It’s also important to note that shipping insurance is non-refundable, even if you cancel your order.
What is SHEIN’s Return Policy?
SHEIN offers a return policy that gives you 45 days after the purchase date to file a refund request. Return shipping costs are free for the first return only, and the subsequent items are chargeable. Succeeding returns will result in the shipping fees being deducted from the customers refunded amount.
Refunds usually get processed about 7 days upon request. Please note that while the refund policies are fairly similar between countries, the charges, lead times tolerances may differ. Make sure to check the refund policy of the SHEIN website in your country. Here are the general guidelines:
- First return typically free
- Subsequent return shipping fee deducted from refund
- 7 days processing time
- 45 day refund window
- Shipping label fee deducted from refund
How Do I Return a Shipment from SHEIN?
Items that can be returned to SHEIN up to 45 days after purchase. The items must be unworn, unwashed, not be damaged, and must include the original tags, packaging, as well as the hygiene sticker.
Specific purchases such as bodysuits, lingerie, jewelry, beauty products, underwear, event and party supplies, DIY supplies, cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons, which is a common market practice. Items that have non-returnable markings such as free gifts or samples also cannot be returned or refunded.
If you’re located in the United States, there are two main steps before returning a shipment. Once signed in your SHEIN account, go to “My Orders” and click the items to be returned and you may specify the reasons for doing so, then submit.
Use the shipping label on the package as a return label or print your own and place it on the return package. Lastly, arrange pickup or drop off the package at your nearest post office. You may choose your own shipping method when doing so.
Once the package is received by SHEIN, refunds will be processed within 7 days. Refunds will be returned to your SHEIN wallet or payment account. Take note that shipping fees and insurance cannot be refunded.
Where to Find SHEIN Return Shipping Labels?
To get the return shipping label, go to “My Orders” then click “Order Details”. Once done, click “Return & Refund Record” then click “View”.
The SHEIN shipping label provided will cost $7.99 for US customers and is deducted from the refund. In the US, the shipping label provided will only work for transactions in the US. Other countries may have slightly different procedures and fees for the return labels.
